I am a wife and mother of 3 children. My husband bought me my first "real" camera four years ago and I took off running. My hobby grew into a passion and my passion grew into my business. I believe the best photographs come in between the posed portraits. Portraits don't only represent what we look like but they evoke feelings that are sometimes forgotten. As a mom myself I often forget funny or quirky things my children did until I look back at their photo albums. Time moves so quickly and pictures are a great way to journal your life. Annnndd TAKE TWO- Northern Utah family photographer

So I love this session!!! These are some of the out takes. This is REAL life. Everyone loves a perfect portrait of their family (including myself) but this was fun to shoot and edit. How often do we forget the quirky little things our kids do or how stubborn or goofy they can be. This mom wanted the pics of what was really going on. We did get some cute ones too but these are too fun to look at.

A wonderful Spring day…. kinda of.

You would never know from these pictures that is was pouring and windy 5 min before this session!!! Such is living in Utah!! Wow this family is always so easy to photograph I would like to know what they bribe their kids with whatever it is… it works!! The skies cleared up just in time to shoot and then it started to sprinkle! Thank you mother nature! The collages are always a great way to display your photos these are 20×20 and can be mounted on a foam board… easy peasy no need to frame!

Yay for orchards-yay for kiddos- Northern Utah Children Photographer

Well I finally decided it was time to update my own kids pictures!! Man does it make me remember how much of a struggle moms go through to get this done. The clothes, the place, the hair, the fighting and bribery ugh makes me tired just typing it!! So thanks to all you moms (and Dads) who get your memories captured I know sometimes it is not fun but well worth the effort! Sooooo here are my kiddos, I am so thrilled the way they turned out. This is part of my mothers day present this year!

My hubby thought it was a little rude to take a picture without him, but really I am hardly EVER in any pictures with my kids. We love love love him!! He just wasnt there and a friend took this for me I do need some proof I was their mother right??

My Last official post of 2009-northern utah photographer

There was a lot going on for this session!! A dad that did not know he was going to be there, a 2 year old who didn’t want to be there and a dog who was trying to do everything to get out of there!! But gratefully it all worked out to some darling photos…again of boys with amazing eyes and eylashes!!

So this is my last session of 2009 as I am taking the rest of the year off to spend time with my great kiddos and husband no more distractions and deadlines… well at least from photography. I am booking for 2010 and look for some great fun changes coming for the new year! Have a wonderful holiday season!! Another Wonderful family-northern utah photography

We have the best families that live around us I know I say that a lot but it is true. I adore this mom!! I dont know what it is but my last 4 sessions of the year all have had the most beautiful eyes these kids are so dang cute!!
